We ❤ our Veggies

You asked and we are answering! While most nigiri sushi includes fish, we receive more and more requests for vegetarian options. To welcome all, our chefs got creative to come up with nigiri sushi topped with vegetables instead of fish. We are proud to bring you three new vegetarian sushi items to our dinner takeout menu:

  • Vegetable Combo – 6-piece Avocado Cucumber Roll and 6-piece nigiri: 1) Grilled shiitake mushroom 2) Kabocha pumpkin tempura 3) Pickled rainbow carrot 4) Asparagus tempura 5) Micro leaf 6) Daikon radish, shiso mixed salad (Gunkan-maki)
  • Avocado Cucumber Roll with sesame (6 pieces)
  • Asparagus and Red Cabbage Roll – asparagus tempura, pickled red cabbage, pickled ginger, sesame (6 pieces)

Enjoy our thoughtfully prepared vegetarian sushi for dinner takeout.

Shiro’s 30th Anniversary – Uni Specials

In honor of our continued 30-year celebration of Shiro’s Sushi, we bring two Hokkaido uni specials! The creamy, sweet and slightly briny favorite is the star of two new dishes.

Uni-Ikura Kobako – An ample amount of Hokkaido uni is met with the slightly sweet and briny “pop” of ikura, or salmon roe, set atop a very thin layer of sushi rice for a melt-in-your-mouth burst of umami.

Uni O-toro (2 pieces) – The umami experience continues when uni merges with toro. The fatty belly meat brings a rich, buttery combination to the abundant layer of uni on top. A delectable, extraordinary and remarkable bite.

Both dishes can be added onto your dine-in experience, whether omakase at the sushi bar, or in the dining room while enjoying our 19-piece Chef’s Choice Sushi Course or Chef’s Sushi Kaiseki.

The amount of Uni with Ikura and the Uni with Toro nigiri would usually be around $50 each, but each of these dishes is offered at just $30 during July for our 30-year anniversary celebration! These dishes will further create a truly memorable experience at Shiro’s.

Shiro’s 30th Anniversary – Keepsake Cooler

As summer gets underway, our celebration of 30 years of Shiro’s continues to ramp up! Just in time for the warm weather, we have created Shiro’s Sushi mini cooler bags. Showcase your love for sushi (and for Shiro’s Sushi!) while keeping your food and drink cool.

Available for $3.99 or included in your takeout sushi order of $30 or more. Amount is limited, so hurry while they last!
