Extended Happy Hour Week: May 3-10
As Seattle Restaurant Week (SRW) winds down, it has been a great success with seats filled and sushi enjoyed nightly! Its popularity also makes it difficult to get a reservation and many have been unable to dine with us. However, we’ve got another deal too good to resist.
From May 3 to May 10, we are extending our Happy Hour menu throughout the evening. Rather than our usual Monday-Thursday, 4:30-6pm happy hour, we will offer it nightly from open to close for one full week. Our entire happy hour menu will be available at happy hour prices, including the star – our 19-piece Chef Choice Sushi Course ($70)! Enjoy tempura, miso soup, chawanmushi (with uni option), and drinks starting at $6, including Sapporo, sake, and wine options! You can also treat mom as this deal runs through Mother’s Day.
Happy Hour is available only in the dining room. Please make reservations to ensure availability. Sushi Bar will only offer regular omakase for $140 per person, no happy hour.
Our 12-piece Sushi Course on the regular happy hour menu, and the $95 Kaiseki Course dining room menu will not be offered May 3-10.
Sushi ID Quiz
We are shaking things up and bringing a new game – Sushi ID Quiz! Here’s how it works:
- View the photo below and identify what type of fish it is.
- Message us your fish guess on Instagram DM (@shirosseattle) by midnight on May 10 – bonus points for including the Japanese fish name, too!
- All correct answers win a free sashimi assortment OR free tempura assortment and are entered into the grand prize drawing. Bonus point earners – those who give the Japanese name of the fish – win both sashimi and tempura assortments!
- One grand prize winner is randomly selected from those with the correct answers and will receive a $50 gift certificate to Shiro’s.
- We’ll reveal the full photo and fish name on May 11 on Instagram.
All participants win 1 piece of nigiri sushi of the fish.

Sake Flight
