What a year! It’s the last month of the year and the final month we commemorate Shiro’s 30th anniversary. We take our history, our growth, and our memories into 2026, but we are also afforded with the opportunity to welcome new days, new lessons and new excitement! We appreciate all your support for our anniversary celebration this year and throughout the last 30 years, and we look forward to making new life moments with you! As the finale of this anniversary year, we gather some of the most-loved special dishes and events of the year and celebrate one last time. Happy Holidays!

30th Anniversary Special Collection

We introduced several, special anniversary dishes this year. Now, we are bringing back the top four for December to add to your Sushi Bar or Dining Room experience.

– Trio of Aburi Nigiri ($9.50)
A beautiful Aburi Trio with a hint of Yuzu featuring three nigiri: seared salmon with Yuzu Kosho, seared buri with Yuzu Oroshi (grated daikon), and seared fatty tuna with Yuzu salt. A delicious set to add to your evening.

– Uni Crab Ikura Jewel Box ($30)
Open the jewel-like box to reveal treasures of sea urchin, crab, and shining salmon roe. An ample amount of Hokkaido uni combines with the slightly sweet and briny “pop” of ikura, creating a melt-in-your-mouth burst of umami.

– Otoro & Uni Nigiri ($30)
The most popular of all special anniversary items: Uni Otoro Nigiri at a very special offer of $30 for our 30th anniversary (regularly approx. $50). Fatty belly meat brings a rich, buttery combination to the salty, briny and slightly sweet uni!

– Sashimi Plate ($30)
We are excited to bring back our beautiful sashimi assortment for $30 in honor of our 30th anniversary! Our chefs prepare premium sashimi for a wonderful journey of delicious flavors and unique textures from some of the most-loved and seasonal fish!

30th Anniversary Raffle

The excitement of Shiro’s raffle is back! This time, we will run it on days that include lucky number “3,” for our 30th anniversary, namely Dec 3, 13, 23, 30 and 31.

1st place – We will have two first place prizes each day, with the winners receiving their dinner on us that very night! So, whether you order our 19-piece Chef’s Choice menu ($85 value), Shiro’s Kaiseki ($95 value), or Shiro’s Omakase at Sushi Bar ($140 value), the surprise at the end of the evening will be a complimentary dinner for the winner (one dinner only, not the entire party).

2nd place – Second place winners will be awarded the signature Shiro’s 30th Anniversary Magnets.

3rd place – Third place winners will receive a free drink or nigiri coupon redeemable by Feb. 28, 2026.

Sushi Platters

December means winter officially begins (winter solstice is Dec 21), and so has Shiro’s Winter Sushi Platter, available now! Beginning Dec 15-31, we also offer our Sashimi Platter and the Holiday Platter Set – a combination of both the Winter Sushi Platter and Sashimi Platter at a great value for the holidays.

– Winter Sushi Platter ($195)
A treat for any sushi lover this winter! 32 pieces of nigiri featuring eight kinds of seasonal and favorite fish (four pieces each), and 8 pieces of Gunkan-style sushi (two kinds, four pieces each) for a total of 40 delicious sushi pieces.

– Sashimi Platter ($125)
From December 15 through December 31, beautiful fish is expertly prepared as sashimi! This platter features 40 pieces of sashimi including four pieces each of Akami (tuna), O-toro (fatty tuna), Madai (seabream), Bincho (Albacore), Salmon, Buri (yellowtail), Hirame (Flounder), Hotate with Ikura (Scallop with Salmon Roe), Sockeye Salmon, and Uni (Sea Urchin).

– Holiday Platter Set ($275)
When one isn’t enough – enjoy both platters! We see many guests order our Sushi Platters and add sashimi to their order or have a larger guest list and want more variety. For sushi and sashimi enthusiasts alike, we bring the Holiday Platter Set that includes both our Winter Sushi Platter and Sashimi Platter. Available from December 15 through December 31 only, this option gives the best of both worlds in a wonderful display of seasonal sushi and sashimi.

Order online with 2-hours advance notice. Winter Sushi Platter is available now. Sashimi Platter and Holiday Platter Set are available Dec 15 – Dec 31 (savings of $45 vs ordering separately).
