Summer Sushi Platter
Summertime is great for gathering, and our Summer Sushi Platter is an easy and delicious way to enhance the excitement. This 40-piece nigiri sushi platter is an attention-grabbing food fit for a crowd! It includes in-season fish, such as striped Jack (Shimaaji) and freshwater eel (Unagi), which is a very popular summer fish in Japan, going back to ancient times and the belief that freshwater eel contains nutrients to overcome exhaustion from summer heat.

Our Family of Restaurants
We are the only Shiro’s Sushi around, but our family extends far beyond our corner in Seattle – We have a family of restaurants around the world! With travel season at its peak, we would like to introduce you to our three sister restaurants, where you will be welcomed with open arms and a friendly “Irasshaimase!“ whether you are visiting or even living in these other wonderful cities!
ShoMon Kappo Sushi (Seattle)
Just eleven months since opening, ShoMon has quickly become a go-to spot in Seattle for those craving elevated Japanese dining. As the sister restaurant to Shiro’s, we blend tradition with creativity—from binchotan-grilled dry-aged meats to seasonal dishes crafted with care. Our new Essence Course, a $135 tasting menu served at our dining tables, highlights our passion for flavor and details as we look ahead to our one-year anniversary this September.

Kusakabe (San Francisco)
In San Francisco’s Financial District, Kusakabe, led by Kyoto-born Chef Mitsunori Kusakabe, presents “sushi in kaiseki style”—an omakase tasting menu rooted in the harmony, balance, and seasonality of Kyoto cuisine. With a long list of accolades over the years, Kusakabe continues to impress with its meticulous 18-course and Petite Omakase menus ($200 and $148), blending traditional Edomae and ancient sushi styles using premium local and Japanese ingredients.

Sushi Waku (Tokyo)
Located near the Imperial Palace, Sushi Waku offers a new-era Edomae sushi experience led by Chef Michikazu “Michi” Yoshida. Trained in Tokyo, Seattle, Hong Kong, and New York, Chef Michi brings global sensibility to traditional technique—introducing a sixth element, marination, to deepen flavor and texture. With English and Chinese fluency, he offers rare, seamless communication in Tokyo’s fine sushi scene, where such accessibility is hard to find. Offering omakase-only courses and curated sake pairings, Sushi Waku is a hidden gem known for harmony, precision, and warm hospitality.
